Jeff is in his second season at Thousand Oaks Golf Club previously serving as the PGA Head Golf Professional at Cherry Creek Country Club in Denver, CO. Upon graduation from the Professional Golf Management program at Ferris State University in 2007, Jeff accepted a position as Assistant Golf Professional at Cherry Creek Country Club after completing a summer internship at the club. After three and a half years as an Assistant he was promoted to Head Golf Professional, which he held for four and a half years. Jeff served as a board member for the Colorado PGA Section and was very active in tournament play. Jeff is a Holland, MI native and is excited to be back in his home state. During his free time he enjoys golfing, spending time with his wife and new daughter and cheering for the University of Michigan.

Eric is in his first season at Thousand Oaks Golf Club and has spent the last four years in Southern California at Rancho La Quinta Country Club. Eric is a Rockford, MI native and a graduate of the Professional Golf Management program at Ferris State University. In addition to working at Rancho La Quinta, Eric has worked at Sutton Bay in Agar, SD, and Cherry Creek Country Club in Denver, CO. During his time in the golf industry, Eric has gained extensive knowledge in all aspects of the game.

Raquel Bryant has been instructing at Thousand Oaks Golf Club since 2009, when she became a PGA Professional. Raquel played collegiate golf at Ferris State University on a nationally competitive golf team. Raquel instructs women’s clinics, coaches a PGA Junior League team, and runs Thousand Oaks Junior Golf Program. Raquel was awarded the Michigan PGA Youth Player Development Award in 2015. Charley Vandenberg, a Master PGA Professional, is one of the elite golf instructors in the country. His passion for teaching and enthusiasm for helping others improve every aspect of their game has resulted in nominations for the Michigan PGA Teacher of the Year award on 15 different occasions, capturing the title in 1998, 2003, 2007, 2010 and 2014 (winning this prestigious award five times is unprecedented in the state of Michigan). Charley was also a Top 6 Finalist for the 2010 National PGA Teacher of the Year honor and Top 4 Finalist in 2012.

Kelly Plaisier brings ten years of PGA teaching experience from across the United States. She has spent time teaching in Salt Lake City, Chicago, and most recently, Denver. A former Division I golfer, Kelly earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science and has developed and refined her teaching style through a life spent in the golf industry. After spending the past year and a half teaching at the prestigious Trent Wearner Golf Academy, in Denver, CO, Kelly will play an integral role at the Thousand Oaks Golf Academy this summer.
With a confidence to teach all demographics, her expertise working with women and juniors sets her apart and shows in the improvement of her students. She strives to turn high school golfers into college players. With a wealth of experience and a wonderful demeanor we are fortunate to have Kelly as part of the academy.

Brian Kotowicz brings 20 years of teaching experience to Thousand Oaks Golf Academy. Brian has been a PGA Professional since 1999 and is excited to begin teaching and fitting at Thousand Oaks Golf Academy. He has been the Head Golf Professional at Thornapple Pointe Golf Club for the last 18 years and wants to focus on improving golfers of all ages.
