Course Designer: Rees Jones

The ascension of Rees Jones into the ranks of the world's top golf course architects begain in the 1970's after he left the prestigious course-building firm of his father, Robert Trent Jones. After nearly a decade of service with the famous patriarch of the Jones family, Rees founded his own company in 1974, and in 1978 became the youngest president ever of the American Society of Golf Course Architechs.

During the last twenty-nine years, Rees Jones has designed courses in twenty states, Africa, England and Canada. Some of his best known designs are
